With limited funds, I would just keep the most collectable game (usually the older or original) and find out if I can play an updated version by other means. Playing very high value games straight from a console or pc rather than a backup is not really a good idea if you want to keep them in pristine condition though, esp if they are on disc. You would want to check if that was possible first. If you are wanting to just play the better game, then an argument for getting hold of the GC version (and you don't dload games) may be that it could be possible to mod, eg add better sound, if it's mainly only lacking in this area. Sound isnt as good on the Gamecube version, as it is one disc instead of the two like on the Dreamcast, but the Gamecube version contains all the extra content. If you don't care for complete collections are just in it to profit, then consider which one will be hardest to find and therefore higher value in future.
